Alternative Provision 1:1 work and Bespoke Support Packages for individuals
At Seaside Learning, we cater for children from 6 to 16 who are currently either not accessing their mainstream setting or who are not currently registered in a mainstream setting. We offer bespoke programmes for individuals or if appropriate, a pairing or small group from a mainstream setting.
Children will be supported with age and ability-appropriate learning alongside interventions that will help develop their emotional and social development, with the main aim of getting them back in school and succeeding alongside their peers. This work will be completed at the Seaside Learning designated learning space at Branksome Community Centre, alongside the use of the local environment and facilities.
For some children, a package can be created that supports a young person who is finding attending school a challenge and through a reduction in attendance their progress has plateaued and their social and emotional needs are being impacted. We can work with these young people to enhance their self-esteem and help them find confidence again in being in school with their peers.
Packages can be created based on the needs of the young person, the school and the family of the young person. Please get in contact to discuss and plan a package that will maximise progress and improve the outcomes for the young person involved.
