POOLE, DORSET
Unleashing the Tide of Transformative Education
Seaside Learning is an Alternative Provision provider in the BCP area of Dorset.

We offer bespoke support for children who are currently not attending school due to illness, attendance challenges, and/or suspensions and permanent exclusions, as well as those at risk of being suspended or permanently excluded from a mainstream setting.
This support can take place in the family home, local environment, libraries or similar, and/or in the Seaside Learning designated learning space that has both classroom-style facilities along with indoor and outdoor sports areas and the facilities to help develop life skills in a real-life setting.
We will work in a collaborative way to rapidly improve the education and emotional outcomes of the young person and see that they have ongoing success.
We also offer:

-
Support for school leaders in ensuring the school has a positive culture and atmosphere, that positive behaviours are the norm, and that the school's behaviour policy is at the centre of the school's work to enhance pupil behaviour.

-
Guidance and ideas on how to maximise your school learning environment so that it supports all children and helps create a positive culture of behaviour and respect across the school.

-
1:1 tuition to support children out of school, including support with 11+ grammar school entrance exams.
SEASIDE LEARNING
ABOUT
About Us:

Seaside Learning is led by a former Headteacher of a very large primary school that served an area of high deprivation and challenge. Within this role, they managed to significantly reduce suspension rates with a sustained reduction over multiple years resulting in 99% of the families stating their child was 'very happy in the school.'

Why choose Seaside Learning to support your young person?

-
Run by a former Headteacher with twenty-three years of experience within all levels of the education system including senior management, middle leader, and class teacher roles.

-
A passion to ensure that all children succeed and that ensuring children are happy in their learning is an absolute non-negotiable.

-
There is a huge awareness and appreciation of the challenges facing schools and school leaders in balancing the need to cater for high-profile young people in a mainstream setting and balancing this against the need to meet all children in the school's needs.

-
We can offer support in full in regard to utilising AP provision, putting a school AP policy in place, using the AP evidence to support the school and young person long-term and being able to advise on the very complicated area of suspensions and permanent exclusions.

Utilising this vast knowledge and experience in teaching, we can provide multiple services to help children aged 6-16 overcome their educational struggles and positively engage them in the world of learning.
